National fishery gross output value and added value
Calculated according to the price in 2015, national fishery economic gross output value was 2, 201. 94 billion yuan, 10, 203. 55 billion yuan worth of value added, among which the fishery output value was 11, 328.70 billion yuan, 6, 416.36 billion yuan worth of value added; fishery industry and fishing construction industry 5, 096.38 billion yuan, 1, 848.35 billion yuan value added; fishery logistics and fishing service industry 5, 594.86 billion yuan, 1938.84 billion yuan value added. The value ratio of the three industries was 51:23:26 and the added value ration 63:18:19.
Among the fishery output value, ocean catch output value was 200. 351 billion yuan, 115. 042 value added; ocean water farming output value was 293. 766 billion yuan, 171. 813 billion yuan vale added; fresh water catch output value 43. 425 billion yuan, 25. 758 billion yuan value added; aquatic fry farming output value 61. 615 billion yuan, 31. 127 billion yuan value added.(Fishery output value and added value should subject to national report of National Bureau of Statistics of the People’s Republic of China)
In the value of fishery, the ratio of ocean water products to fresh water products was 46:54, farmed products to catched wild products 77:23; in the added value of fishery, ocean water products to fresh water products 47:53 while farmed products to catched wild products 77:23.
Fisherman’s Per Capita Net Income
According to sampling survey carried out among national 10, 000 fisherman’s family, national per capita net income of fisherman was 14, 426.26 yuan, 1, 387.48 more than that in last year, growing 10.64%.
Aquatic production and per capita amount
National aquatic production was 66, 996, 500 metric tonnes, increasing 3.69% year on year, among which farmed aquatic production was 49,379,000 metric tonnes, increasing 3.99%; catched aquatic production 17, 617,500 metric tonnes, increasing 2.84%. The ratio of farmed aquatic production to catched aquatic production was 74：26. The production of ocean water fish was 34, 096, 100 tonnes, increasing 3.44% year on year while fresh water fish production was 32, 900, 400 tonnes, increasing 3.94%. The ratio of ocean water fish production to fresh water fish production was 51：49.
Ocean-going fishing production was 2, 192, 000 tonnes, growing 8.12% year on year, which accounts for 3.27% of the total aquatic production.
National per capita aquatic production was 48.74 KG(1,374. 62 million of population), 1.50 KG more than that in last year, growing 3.18%.
Aquaculture area
National aquaculture area was 8, 465, 000 hectares, increasing 0.94% year on year, among which seawater farming area was 2, 317, 760 hectares, decreasing 0.53% year on year; freshwater farming area 6, 147, 240 hectares, increasing 1.09% year on year. The ratio was 27:73.
Fishing vessel quantity
By the end of 2015, total quantity of fishing vessels and their tonnes were 1, 042 ,500 and 10, 863,300 respectively. The motor vessel total quantity was 672400 with total tonnes of 10, 406, 400 and total power of 22, 569, 900 kilowatts; non-motor vessel total quantity 370, 100 with total tonnes of 456, 800.
Among the motor vessels, production vessels were 644, 800 with total tonne of 9, 386, 200 and total power of 20, 448, 400 kilowatts; auxiliary vessels 27, 600 with total tonne 1, 020, 200 and total power 2, 121, 400 kilowatts.
Fishery population and employees
Fishery population was about 20, 169, 600 which was 180, 800 less than that of last year, decreasing 0.89%, among which traditional fishermen were 6, 784, 600 which was 79, 400 less, decreasing 1.16%. 14, 148, 500 employees worked in fishery, 141, 700 less than that in last year, decreasing 0.99%.
Import and export of aquatic products
According to Chinese Customs, the total import and export quantity of aquatic products was up to 8, 141, 500 tonnes whose total volume was 23, 914, 000, 000 US dollars, increasing 3.59％ and 5.08％respectively year on year. In 2015, China exported 4, 060, 300 tonnes of aquatic products whose value was 20, 333, 000, 000 US dollars, increasing 2.48 and 6.29％ respectively year on year. The export value accounted for 28.77% of the total of agricultural products(70, 680, 000, 000 US dollars); the total import quantity was 4, 081, 300 tonnes whose value was 8, 982, 000, 000 US dollars, increasing 4.66％and 2.22％ respectively year on year. Trade surplus was 11, 351, 000, 000 US dollars, 1162000000 less than that in last year.
Fishery disaster condition
Aquatic production loss caused by natural disasters was about 999, 100 tonnes while 690, 810 hectares of farming area were affected. Sunk fishing vessels were 3, 122. A total of 33 persons were dead, missing and heavily injured during the work in fishery industry. The direct economic loss was 20, 016, 000, 000 yuan.
