CFDA solicited public test methods relevant to foods
In order to solve the problem of lack of methods for inspection and determination of food, and strengthen technological support for daily supervision of food and relevant case inspection continuously, CFDA proposed to solicit public test methods for food. The emphasis was on methods for determination of abuse of food additive and addition of non-food substances, and identification of adulteration, including determination of recovered oil and honey adulteration, etc. Application materials should be submitted before October 20th, 2016.Explanation about adjusting implementation date of some standards including “National food safety standard Food microbiological examination - Examination of Yersinia enterocolitica”
On August 31 of 2016, NHFPC, jointly with CFDA, issued Announcement No. 11, 2016. In order to link with the laboratory management carried out by inspection agencies, the implementation date of 82 standards for test methods including “National food safety standards Food microbiological examination - Examination of Yersinia enterocolitica” (GB 4789.8-2016), etc. was adjusted to March 1, 2017.
