The Aristocrat Group Corporation (ASCC) is eyeing on fast-growing flavored vodka brands to grow its business.
To target the global distilled spirits market, the company has hired its brand management division Luxuria Brands to market the flavored vodka brands.
Luxuria Brands has already signed a deal with Idaho-based distillery Distilled Resources to produce its first super-premium vodka brand. It further plans to bring second vodka brand to the marketplace.
With these brands, Aristocrat aims to compete with industry majors like Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH), Diageo, Beam and Brown-Forman.
In 2007, flavored vodka accounted for only 14% of total vodka sales, but in 2011, the number increased to 19% as sales of flavored vodka rose by 21% to nearly $988m.
According to some analysts, the flavored vodka segment is expected to grow and account for $1.88bn by 2016.
