A spinachBI-LO store in Georgia is recalling Taylor Farms Spinach Antipasti Salad sold in the full-service case in the deli department due to the potential for Listeria contamination.

The store, located at 500 Furys Ferry Road in Martinez, Ga., sold the salad between Oct. 19 and 27.

The store said it has not received any reports of illness associated with the salad. However, due to the time involved in tracing an illness back to a specific food product, it is impossible to say whether or not anyone has been sickened from eating this product.

BI-LO is asking anyone who purchased the product to discard it immediately. To receive a refund, customers may take a receipt or product label back to the store.

This recall is related to a recall of more than 100,000 cases of ready-to-eat products from Reser’s Fine Foods, which may also contain salad dressing contaminated with Listeria.
