On August 15th, 960 kg of mangoes, grown by the Longyao Century's farmer's cooperative in Panzhihua city, were sent from Chengdu's main airport Shuangliu. They were transfered on to an international flight heading for Moscow. This was the first batch of exported Panzhihua mangoes to have reached Russia. Russia is the fifth largest fruit market in the world, due to its special geographical location and climate, the supply of local fruits and vegetables is only enough for three months, so there is a rather large deficit of agricultural products.
