Ball Corporation has paired with Oskar Blues Brewery to launch the packaged version of first Dale's Pale Ale in a 'Royal Pint' (568ml) can in the North American market.
Brewed by Oskar Blues, the first canned beer will be promoted at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, US to celebrate the Tenth Anniversary of Canned Craft Beer.
Oskar Blues Brewery marketing director Chad Melis said, "2012 marks the tenth anniversary of the debut of Dale's Pale Ale as the first craft beer available in recyclable aluminum cans in North America.''
The beer cans will initially have special edition graphics and will later be made available with the same signature graphics as the Dale's Pale Ale 12-oz. aluminum can.
Royal Pint is the only canned beer with a height of a 24oz. and with the diameter of a 16oz. in North America.
