After declining for three weeks, prices of Norwegian salmon exports increased for the period of 11 to 17 February.
For the week, export prices of fresh salmon came to NOK 36. 13 (USD 6.4, EUR 4.84) per kilo, up 3.7 percent from the previous seven-day period.
Export quantity of fresh salmon also increased to 14,332 metric tons (MT) up 5.1 percent compared to 13,631 MT during the previous week.
Norway exports of frozen salmon dropped to 382 MT valued at NOK 33.11 (USD 5.89, EUR 4.43) per kilo, down from 485 MT valued at NOK 33.27 (USD 5.92, EUR 4.45) per kilo the previous week.
